Take Action - Take Responsibility

Materials for the public include information on the importance of voting and how to register to vote. Materials for the bar including a call for lawyers to serve as nonpartisan election officials and Election Protection Project hotline volunteers. Materials for judges include training and statutory materials on hearing election disputes. Please link to www.abavoteinfo.org on your entities' web sites and distribute the link to public and bar constituencies that have a stake in free, fair, open, and accurate elections--a key element of the rule of law. www.abavoteinfo.org is a project of the ABA Division for Public Education and the Standing Committee on Election Law, in cooperation with the Section of Administrative Law, the Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities, the Judicial Division, the Council on Racial and Ethnic Justice, and the Office of the President.
