This Class Actions National Institute will address new developments in class actions as well as consumer fraud class actions and the “Rigorous Analysis” standard. Our expert faculty will also discuss Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA) and its consequences with a specific focus on measuring the impact of the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005 and the metamorphosis of ethically prosecuting, defending, and settling multi-state, class-action cases.

CLE Credit
6.33 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states including 1.25 hours of Ethics credit/7.60 hours of CLE credit in 50-minute states including 1.50 hours of Ethics credit has been requested in states accrediting ABA teleconferences and live audio webcasts.
Cancellations
Refund requests for National Institute presentations will be honored on the following basis:
- 8 business days or more: 100% refund
- 4 to 7 business days: 100% refund minus $50 administrative fee
- 3 business days or less: No refund
“Day of Cancellation” is the day the cancellation is received, by telephone or in writing, by the ABA.
